    iOS & iPadOS Widgets

    Step-by-step guide to add Viste widgets on your iPhone and iPad

    Requirements

    • • iOS 14.0 or iPadOS 14.0 or later
    • • Viste app installed and configured
    • • At least 5 wardrobe items uploaded
    • • Location access enabled (optional but recommended)

    Setup Instructions

    Install Viste App

    First, make sure you have the Viste app installed and set up:

    • Download Viste from the App Store
    • Create an account or log in
    • Upload at least 5-10 wardrobe items
    • Allow location access for weather data

    Enter Widget Edit Mode

    On your iPhone or iPad home screen:

    1. Find an empty area on your home screen
    2. Press and hold until apps start wiggling
    3. Look for the "+" button in the top-left corner
    4. Tap the "+" button to open the widget gallery

    Find Viste Widget

    In the widget gallery:

    1. Scroll down or use the search bar to find "Viste"
    2. Tap on the Viste app icon
    3. You'll see different widget size options available
    4. Choose your preferred size (Small, Medium, or Large)

    Add Widget to Home Screen

    To add the widget:

    1. Tap "Add Widget" for your chosen size
    2. The widget will appear on your home screen
    3. Drag it to your desired position
    4. Tap "Done" in the top-right corner

    Configure Widget Settings

    Customize your widget:

    1. Press and hold the widget
    2. Tap "Edit Widget" from the popup menu
    3. Choose your display preferences (weather info, outfit style, etc.)
    4. Tap outside the widget when done

    Available Widget Sizes

    Small Widget

    2x2 grid

    Shows current weather and a single outfit suggestion with minimal details.

    Medium Widget

    4x2 grid

    Displays weather info, main outfit suggestion, and quick style tips.

    Large Widget

    4x4 grid

    Full outfit details, weather forecast, and multiple clothing options.

    Troubleshooting

    Widget not appearing in gallery

    • Make sure the Viste app is installed and opened at least once
    • Check that you're running iOS 14.0 or later
    • Try restarting your device

    Widget showing "No Data"

    • Open the Viste app and ensure you're logged in
    • Check your internet connection
    • Make sure location access is enabled
    • Upload at least 5 wardrobe items

    Widget not updating

    • Tap the widget to manually refresh
    • Check Background App Refresh settings for Viste
    • Remove and re-add the widget

    Pro Tips
